Locally Grown Flowers for Weddings, Events and Bouquets

Emerald Flowers began when Rekha decided to grow all the flowers for her own wedding. There had always been a passion for gardening in the family, but that process (two attempts, thanks Covid!) got us truly hooked on bringing joy to others through flowers.

We focus on using flowers grown locally under the abundant sunshine (and abundant rain) of Tāmaki Makaurau. Most blooms are grown from seed, nurtured from the soil to the vase. Our arrangements showcase the very best of three lovely little microclimates across the region: a bit tropical, not very traditional, but altogether fabulous.

The goal is always to fill your space with the joy we feel when we’re out in the garden: the meditative calm of watering, the warmth of sunshine on our skin and a bit of chaos from our cocker spaniel assistant. We’ll tailor your order to your desires, but in general our style is lush, wild, surprising, seasonal, textural – and above all, fresh and bold!

We have stayed close to our roots and specialise in events, from weddings to corporate product launches, private dinners or parties, and more. Whatever the occasion, we offer a bespoke package of floral elements to take your party up a notch. Bouquets are also available on request.
